American white birch hardwood has smooth, fine
and uniform grain pattern and light coloring -
from creamy white to medium brown to grayish white.
American White Birch grows principally in the Northeastern
and the Lake States and also grows along the Appalachian
Mountains to northern Georgia. Birches can reach a height of 70 ft,
with a diameter of more than 2 ft. Natural resistance to decay/rotting.
